September 16, 2015

The marketing suite, designed in the style of The Atlas Building’s residents’ lounge, overlooks the development site and includes a two bedroom show apartment furnished by award-winning designer Woods Bagot, as well as interactive models of The Atlas Building and a viewing platform with views of the City. Interested parties can register to attend the opening event here.

Designed by award-winning MAKE Architects, the distinctive 40-storey residential tower is the defining feature of the mixed-use scheme, which also includes office space and a new public piazza that will become a vibrant gathering place with shops and places to eat.

Due for completion at the end of 2018, The Atlas Building’s 302 apartments range from studios to three bedroom apartments and penthouses, with prices starting from £580,000. The development is designed so that all apartments are positioned to give a double aspect outlook and each will have a balcony or terrace.

The building contains an extensive range of lifestyle amenities for residents, including a gym, ground floor swimming pool, cinema room, 24-hour concierge and a private residents’ lounge. The technical specification of The Atlas Building will include 1GB broadband connection available from the day residents move in and ‘Atlas online’, a digital concierge system to complement the personal concierge service. The Atlas Building, which is located moments from Old Street roundabout, is in a convenient and buzzing Zone 1 location and in prime position to access the diverse areas of Shoreditch, Islington, Farringdon and the City.

The project is being developed by Rocket Investments, a private property development and investment company with a strong track record of delivering successful mixed-use schemes, with a particular focus around Old Street and City Road.

Tom Appleton, Founder and Chairman of Rocket Investments, said: “Having worked on a number of significant projects in the Old Street area, Rocket Investments has seen the transformation from City Fringe at first hand. Tech City embodies the eastward drift of London’s economy and, with the upward trajectory of demand and values expected to continue, The Atlas Building offers a unique chance to be part of one of London’s most vibrant and opportunistic areas, whether from a corporate, investment or lifestyle perspective.”
